Checklist:

1. Sport North Registration - Gemspro

3. All participants (coaches, chaperones, athletes) 18 yrs. of age and over must submit a Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check prior to their Territorial Trials date – CRC/VSC must be valid six months prior to the Arctic Winter Games. 

4. All participants will need to provide proof of a valid passport, or that they have submitted a passport application (renewal or new application) and received a processing number from the Government of Canada. 5. Basketball NWT membership.

6. MUST HAVE A CHAPERONE IDENTIFIED - Please be prepared to work within your sport to ensure/assist there are chaperones available to travel with athletes for the Trials.  Where reasonable Sport North will endorse a ratio of 1 chaperone to 8 athletes. Chaperones NOT attending the 2024 AWGs do not need to provide proof of a valid passport.

Athletes can expect this program to cost between $700- $1200 per athlete.
